Empowerment Program

The School-Based Empowerment Program is a psychoeducational empowerment experience for males in grades 4 through 8. It provides the opportunity for participants to spend quality educational time during the school day with men who serve as role models/mentors.

The program stresses the development of the motivation and skills necessary for academic success, the development of positive and responsible social behavior, building a sense of connectedness, and the modeling of positive male images.

This program seeks to reduce the number of students’ discipline infractions as well as improve students’ attendance, self-confidence, engagement in academics, and sense of connectedness.

ASE Program

After-School Enrichment (ASE) provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. We offer new learning opportunities that help participants do better in school and in life.

ASE focuses on nurturing and enhancing participant’s development by providing enrichment activities that encourage self-discovery, builds character, and cultivates essential life skills.

The goal of ASE is to provide students with a meaningful and dynamic extension of their school day in a safe, comfortable and familiar environment.

Summer Program

Kut Different (KD) Summer Program is a one-of-a-kind program designed to introduce participants to people, places, and things that they would not normally have access to. We deliver experiences that open participants’ minds and clear paths.

We believe that positive exposure is the missing component that motivates youth to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. During a 9-week program we open minds of future leaders, affording young men the opportunity to experience the world around them and to use their talents for good, convert their passion into careers, and assert authority over their own lives.

We use 3 focus areas to create a curriculum that helps participants gain new knowledge, skills, abilities, build confidence, and discover who they are.

Focus Areas:

  • Education/Skill-Building
  • Health & Wellness
  • Exposure
